About Us
The WA EHDDI Learning Community is supported by a collaboration between the Washington State Department of Health EHDDI program and the University of Washington. Professionals at the UW Center on Human Development and Disability and Speech and Hearing Sciences Department provide professional continuing education training through webinars, in-person seminars, and online resources.
The WA State EHDDI Learning Community supports professionals across disciplines and across the state to connect, share ideas and results, and learn from each other through both in-person and virtual interactions. The WSELC aligns professionals around common goals and best practices to support children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families. Professionals involved in this learning community include newborn hearing screeners, pediatric audiologists, family resource coordinators, and early intervention providers practicing in the state of Washington.
